Anne Downes

Training Mentor

Anne writes and develops our online training courses and is an experienced trainer. She has mentored hundreds of learners through a range of courses and supports our assessors. Anne has managed various projects and promotions for Opening the Book and developed links with European libraries. Anne is based at her home office near Brighton in Sussex. Anne particularly enjoys working with the energetic, sharp and creative staff that take our online courses. She is impressed with the way that staff from libraries all over the world use our training to make change happen in their libraries. In her time off Anne is an apprentice silversmith and a voracious reader. Anne likes to cook, especially cakes, so offsets that with archery and yoga lessons.
