Shadow

by K Parker

If you like crime, but want to try a different genre, this might be the book for you. It's the story of a man who's lost his memory and is struggling to find out who he is - lots of clues and blind alleys to keep the reader guessing right to the end of the book - and, in fact, beyond it as this is the first in a trilogy.

All in all, he figured, defrauding honest villagers of their meagre resources struck him as desperately hard, gruelling work.
