The Killing Floor

by Lee Child

This is a book that I really did stay up until 3am reading! Recommended by a co-worker, i was literally hooked from the first sentance. Fast paced and thrilling, the hero is someone everyone can relate too - he kicks some serious bad guy butt! Couldn't see where it was going, so was hooked right to the end . (and all his other books are great too!)

Killing Floor is the first one of these great Jack Reacher books I read. A colleague advised me to read them in the order they were written in so that is what I did - every one except The Enemy which my colleague said wasn't the same as the others. I just love the Jack Reacher character - larger than life. He is so James Bondish - the good bit is you just know he won't die. What a hero. I must say I have recommended these books to so many. Well done to Lee Child and can't wait for the next one!

This is the first Lee Child I read too, recommended by a library reader. I just had to read every other one after this, hooked from the start! Have just finished the eagerly awaited 61 Hours. (After running out of Lee Child I went on to Michael Connelly, another similar & gripping storyteller).
