The Memory Keeper's Daughter

by Kim Edwards

So far an explosion of emotions! I am enjoying the style and content of the book, it seems to be very sympathetic towards all the main characters so far. I can't put it down.

It is well worth persevering with this book. I read it for my book club and was not immediately attracted to it but in the end we were all affected by it. How life can be changed so much by one action.

Hayley - stick with it. It's well worth finishing. A beautiful book which highlights the lifetime consequences of just a few words.

I'm really struggling getting into this book, but can't understand why because it has all the elements I like of a good book. It is in all the top tens but I am just finding it very long winded. I really want to like it, does it reach a point and become amazing?
