The Time Traveller's Wife

by Audrey Niffenegger

A wonderful book which tells the story of Henry and Claire, Although it is a love story it is very unusual as Henry ages backwards and knows from his first meeting with Claire (when she is 6) that he will marry her. A compulsive read which I didn`t want to put down.

I enjoyed this book and the time travelling concept. It was a bit of a jigsaw read but well worth the effort as it was so unusual. The film wasn't anywhere near as good as the book!

This was definitely a book that I wouldn't normally read, but I absolutely loved it! It was so compelling, heart wrenchingly beautiful and will stay with me for a long time. Mary

I read it over a year ago and it still makes me smile, and sad. It was a 'Russian Dolls' story.

I was surprised how much I really enjoyed this book. I usually go for horror or fantasy and this book kept me hooked until the end. I admit to crying too, but that didn't stop me, I needed to know what happened next.

Loved it, different to anything I had read before. Had to concentrate though; as the story jumps backwards and forwards through time with Henry and Claire meeting at different times in their lives.

It`s one of the best books I have ever read. Might be the best one.

I loved this book. All my favourite books are old but this is the only modern book I would put in my top ten.

This book is a wonderful read as well as being completely original, it was gripping andin the end I believed that there really were people who could move from one time to another.
