I loved this, I read it just after watching one of the earlier big brothers ( I don't watch it now). It was so Funny and I could match most of the charac with the Big brother contestants I had been watching!!

Anyone who has read these and enjoyed them should also read 'Chart Throb' and 'Blind Faith' both by Ben Elton. the former is written along the same lines as 'Dead Famous' but it is more about the x factor mentality and people's views towards 'being famous..this is my dream etc' The latter is based on the the 'Facebook Culture' and how it might be in the future. Everyone HAS to be famous and have a blog! Both are very funny and definately worth a read!

I read this book because of the modern "Big Brother" society that we live in. Reading Ben Eltons take on this, written with more tongue in cheek than any real admiration was great.

I loved this book - i'm not a huge fan of big brother (honest!) but it really brought out the lure of fame.

I picked this book up because of Ben Elton more than the synopsis but it made me laugh out loud in places and cringe in others. Are we really so gullible, so star struck?
