The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud

by Ben Sherwood

This book was a 'Richard Judy' summer read, so, obviously, very popular, but I could not get on with it. I didn't like the way the subject matter of death and ghosts was treated. I'm afraid I gave up halfway through, so perhaps if I'd persevered, I would have got more out of it, or perhaps it was unfortunate that I had just read 'For one more day' by Mitch Albom on a similar theme, which I thought was wonderful.

I think you should have continued. I wasn't sure but I thought the twist at the end of the book was stunning. I loved it! I would actually reccommend it.
