Gentlemen and Players

by Joanne Harris

I believe it's already been suggested but I want to add my vote for this as a totally unputdownable read. Once started, you've just got to keep going. I read it in well under 24 hours, despite the intrusion of real life!

The two narrative voices are totally different but combine to produce a fascinating whole, full of twists and turns, which will keep you turning pages until the whole truth is finally revealed. Or is it

Set in a secondary school, this is a Must Read for every teacher - and anyone who's ever been a pupil!
