Wild Swans

by Jung Chang

The story of three generations of Chinese women. How they live their lives and how China changes in their lifetimes.
A good book for journeys as you can wonder at the ways of the world as you travel through it.

A True epoch with an equaly matching recollection. What can we learn from this beautiful book? It really was a good idea that the author added an index for those of us with a low attention span. Who would want to miss any detail in this book.

I read this book several years ago when it was first published and it has stuck in my mind ever since. I thought it was an absolutely fascinating insight into the history of China and also of the way we humans can treat each other. i am sure I will read it again some time.
