The Simple Truth

by David Baldacci

I'm a third of the way through this thriller. Page one caught my attention and hasn't lost it yet. You know the baddies are out there and after everyone who knows about them, which makes for an 'edge of the seat' read.
The only drawback is the American legal setting - which I don't fully understand the supreme court of justice, motions, opinions etc.... However I'm rushing past these bits to get back to the thrilling chase! You do also get a sense of getting to know the characters, which I like.

I've read lots of Baldacci and he's never let me down yet! If you like this, I'd also recommend Scott Turow.
