Neverwhere

by Neil Gaiman

This book I took to bed with me one evening I was about a third of the way through it and when my husband wanted to turn off the light I just had to get up again and read until about 2 am!! Funny, scary - so gripping I needed to know if the characters were going to be 'safe' and solve the clues in the end! I now see the Underground in a very different way!

Brilliant book, I read this years ago - before the tv series of it appeared and its great. Fascinating characters and genius use of everyday locations.
