Hector and the Search for Happiness

by Francois Lelord

I am not sure if this is a text book or a novel. It is written in a deceptively simple style, almost like a childrens book. But the subject is definitely adult. Hector goes round the world making a list of things that bring happiness to people, and he has some adventures along the way. Although basically a simple tale it is very thought provoking and had me thinking about what is important to me.
