Agatha Raisin and the

by M.C. Beaton

It's a series: "Agatha Raisin and the ...." I have recommended these books to many readers often just for the pure delight of escapism that doesn't offend. I should really say a huge amount of readers have taken them, and only about 2/3 have said that 'they weren't for me'. Most people return their books and immediately request the next ones if we don't have them in the Library. They are written in a very light style but that only adds to the attraction of the storyline, which often weaves unexpected complications before the reader can put the book down exhausted, and in the hope that the next one is on the library shelf!
