Who is the course for?

Participants will:

  • Gain confidence in talking to readers of all ages
  • Understand the difference between personal reading preferences and working with books and readers in the library
  • Discuss how best to deal with a range of typical customer enquiries
  • Learn how to identify reading audiences by analysing cover messages
  • Explore a wide range of stock and practise talking about a wide range of books
  • Gain tools to analyse new books in the future
