Participants will:
- Gain confidence in talking to readers of all ages
- Understand the difference between personal reading preferences and working with books and readers in the library
- Discuss how best to deal with a range of typical customer enquiries
- Learn how to identify reading audiences by analysing cover messages
- Explore a wide range of stock and practise talking about a wide range of books
- Gain tools to analyse new books in the future
