Cillip's assessment report on the Frontline course recognised it as excellent and especially noted the learning innovation displayed in the design and content of the online course for both trainees and supervisors.

Life Long Learning UK are including the Frontline course as the standard component for the reader development option when NVQs are replaced with QCF qualifications in the sector. This may eventually lead to Frontline Trainees being able to use their work as an element of a larger qualification.

Frontline AwardsFrontline was shortlisted for an e-Government National Award 2007 in the category of e-Government excellence in Learning & Skills.

The e-Government National Awards recognise and praise the best in public sector ICT & e-Government - across local / central government, non-departmental public bodies, non-governmental organisations and other deliverers of e-government services.

The e-Government National Awards are supported by the Government Chief Information Officer (Cabinet Office), the Office of Government Commerce, the Society of Information Technology Management (Socitm), and SOLACE (Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and Senior Managers).

Frontline AwardsFrontline was one of only 8 projects shortlisted in the category e-Government excellence in Learning & Skills (Public sector online or electronic services which transform learning & skills outcomes.)

Frontline was also shortlisted for a 2006 e-learning award, in the category of Best Example of Supporting Learners Online.
