It is important to remember that the 2000 List is historic and has not been updated.  The scores are based on the averages of 11 authorities at that time and may now be very different.

For example, in 2000 Authority G in the Results table on Revised Instructions page 30 had no Kathy Reichs titles while Authority A had no Sarah Waters titles - this is very different in 2004 when these authors have been in the bestseller lists for some time. Enough of the data is still relevant to make the 2000 List worth using.  It will double-check your performance in categories which are not time related and it will give a good picture of your crime holdings.  The information yielded is more important than the scores.

* Make sure you highlight only the data cells not the No of Copies cell at the top or you will get a password protected message.

* Until data is entered, the Summary sheet will show Poor as the overall score and the cells will show #DIV/0!   When you enter data in the No of Copies column it will automatically be transferred into the other spreadsheets to calculate your results.  If you think any data has not transferred for any reason press F9 to ensure it does.

* Please fill in your numbers of copies on the alphabetical sheet called 2000 Title List not on the 2000 List Working Sheet or we will be unable to use your data in summary calculations.

* The Instructions contain a lot of background information for general interest.  The section you must read before using the SQHC is pages 11- 15.

* If you already have the Revised Instructions for the 2004 SQHC you do not need to download the Revised Instructions for the 2000 SQHC as the documents are identical.
