1996 Publication of Shelf Talk

The Arts Council manual for promoting literature in libraries contained key articles by many of the major players – Rachel Van Riel & Olive Fowler of Opening the Book, Chris Meade then at the Poetry Society, Miranda McKearney of Well Worth Reading, Jonathan Davidson of Birmingham Libraries, Debbie Hicks of East Midlands Arts - as well as lots of case studies and project examples.  It was freely distributed to all authorities.
