Have you ever found other people’s ideas and experience useful? We’re sure you have. Can you help by giving something back?
Other people are interested in what you are doing in your library. So let us have your contribution, tell us what you are doing, so that we can get it on the site for them to see. Click on what you want to do, we provide an easy way to do it.
What would you like to contribute?
A book promotion you have undertaken
A project for readers in the library
An outreach project
A profile of a reading group
A strategy or policy document
A good idea to share
A new link you think we should list
A project for Room 101
A Reader's Day
We have tested different ways of inviting your contributions, and time and again we have found that when you fill in forms, you go all formal and cold and don’t really tell us what was fun, or worthwhile, or even what was really important about the project. But we need to find out the basic stuff as well as what happened. So here is a compromise. We start with a short form, then leave you space to tell us what really went on. We hope you will use that space to express yourself.
Before you send this off to us, show your contribution to a colleague. Find out if you have given all the essential details, what question would your colleague ask? What have you left out? Did you make them smile at least once? Good, then send it off to us and we’ll put it on the site.
