Opening the Book has taken reader-centred ideas and projects to many other countries.
The Ønskebok website - a unique way of choosing a book to read - is the largest international project Opening the Book has undertaken. The site was launched in Norway by the Minister of Culture in September 2007 and featured on national television
The Frontline course is available for use outside the UK. Library services can subscribe to use the UK version or can work with Opening the Book to build and test a customised version for their own country and/or language.
Opening the Book Promotions' library furniture has been exported to many countries, including the Netherlands, Nigeria and the United States.
